Very good news, actually. JALL is one step closer to possibly getting published. It's in the hands of a fantastic agent and her assistant. I'll know more in a few weeks. Let me say that I am honored and still a little in shock.

Sorry to be vague, but I'm a little superstitious (surprise). The agent's assistant skipped the whole "send me the first five pages" step and asked for the entire thing. She also asked if I had any other agents interested. I don't know if that is standard (Sabra, thoughts?) but I took it as a good sign. I have another 1-3 weeks waiting time, and may I add that these are some of the slowest week on record.
I don't want to say who the agent is, but she's with an excellent House (and that capitalized word is your clue). I've given her first look.
